Adjustable lumbar support
Supports the natural S-curve of your spine. Set the height to match your lower back, not the other way round.
Breathable mesh back
Air moves through the backrest instead of collecting behind it. Noticeable on long days and in summer.
Three configurations
Without armrests, with armrests, or with headrest and armrests. Same chair, different levels of support.
Features
Breathable mesh back
Breathable mesh backrest keeps the air moving — even in summer.
High-quality moulded foam seat
The seat is made from high-quality moulded foam, so it keeps its shape and its comfort over long working days.
Synchronised tilt with tension adjustment
Seat and backrest move together as you lean back. Set the resistance to your height and weight, so the chair follows you rather than pushing against you.
Adjustable headrest
On the headrest configuration you can adjust both height and angle — comfortable thanks to the breathable mesh.
Height-adjustable armrests
The M2 comes without armrests or with height-adjustable armrests, depending on how you work.
Height-adjustable seat
The seat moves 10 cm (4") in height, between 42.5 and 52.5 cm (16.7"–20.7") — adjust it to your body, not your desk.

VALKENSTOL M2 — an award-winning office chair at an honest price
The M2 was named “Best office chair under €200” in the CHIP test. It’s the entry point into VALKENSTOL’s ergonomic range — fully equipped, without the premium price tag.
What makes a good office chair at this price?
The M2 covers the ergonomic functions a desk chair in this segment should have: height-adjustable lumbar support, a synchronised tilt mechanism with tension adjustment, breathable mesh back and stepless seat height adjustment. Compared with other chairs in its class, the M2 stands out above all for build quality.
Who is the M2 for?
The M2 suits people up to around 1.85 m (6’1″) with a recommended user weight of up to 120 kg (265 lbs); maximum load capacity is 150 kg (330 lbs). It’s built for home offices and smaller workplaces with 4–8 hours of sitting a day. If you spend the whole day at your desk or you’re taller than 1.85 m, look at our larger models.
Essential, armrests or headrest?
Three configurations: Essential without armrests, with height-adjustable armrests, or with an additional headrest. The armrests adjust in height — which matters for keeping your shoulders relaxed over a long day.
